Luka finally answers, a hint of exasperation in his voice.]

He speaks.

[Look at that. There's a flash of ire and he wants to say something snarky, something along the lines of does an Avatar even need a console, but of course he can't. He still doesn't trust these phones not to be tapped into, so he'll be playing it safe.]

[He's not been doing much, just scrolling on his tablet and low-key dreading the conversation, so it doesn't take Carter long to come over.

Still, he hesitates outside his door, hands in his pocket, pacing a few times before he finally musters up the courage to knock.]

Luka opens the door a moment later, ducking his head in the doorway, gesturing for Carter to come inside.]

Hi. The, uh. The coffee's ready.
